A New Harvest

A local farmer in Bolivia is thankful to God for sending Samaritan's Purse engineers to teach him how to plant and harvest golden berries. The new crop provides him with a stable source of income for his family and enables them to remain in their home near Chuma.

Great Time to Give Back

Samaritan's Purse is helping rebuild homes in Texas that were severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. Edward Graham recently visited some of the rebuild sites and asked for more volunteers saying "it's a great time to give back and let other people know about the Good News of Jesus Christ."

Operation Heal Our Patriots

A New Peace

Army Staff Sergeant John Hosea was severely wounded in Afghanistan and his combat-related injuries threatened to destroy his marriage. His wife, Sara, reached out to Operation Heal Our Patriots for help. She applied to the program, and they were accepted to go to Samaritan Lodge Alaska for a week of marriage enrichment. There, God brought a new peace to their lives and their marriage.

Miigaa's Story: Hearts Healed, Lives Transformed

Through our Children's Heart Project, Miigaa, then a 14-year-old girl living in Mongolia, received lifesaving surgery and later accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Now an adult, Miigaa is giving back and helping heal the hearts and lives of others as she studies to become a cardiologist.

Bat-Ulzii's Story: From Patient to Pastor

When Bat-Ulzii was 13 years old he learned he had a heart problem. Lifesaving surgery could not be performed in Mongolia, but through our Children's Heart Project he received the necessary operation in Texas-and came to faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. Now, years later, he is a pastor serving a local congregation in Mongolia.
