A pastor in Texas is blessed to learn that students from the College of the Ozarks volunteered with Samaritan's Purse during their spring break to help rebuild his house which was severely damaged by Hurricane Harvey in August 2017.

Sue Anthony feared her attic full of memories, including photos, Mother’s Day cards, and various other cherished keepsakes, were lost forever when a tornado ripped her attic apart on Memorial Day and tossed it into a neighbor’s yard. But Samaritan’s Purse volunteers, who were cleaning up debris in her Dayton, Ohio, neighborhood, were able to find many of Sue’s family treasures and return them to her.

A Sand Springs, Oklahoma, resident considered walking away from his house—and from life, too—after massive floodwaters filled and destroyed the inside of his home. Samaritan's Purse volunteers arrived to mud-out his house and shared the hope of the Gospel with him. Now, he rejoices in his new life in Christ and plans "to keep this love going."
