Training Rural Cambodian Families To Earn A Living Selling Goats

International Crisis Response | 2:10 IP-250905_Cambodia_Goat Livelihood

Employment is scarce in the Cambodian village of Kamrieng, with many residents migrating from the area in search of a means to earn a living. While the climate makes farming crops difficult, there is still a lucrative market for raising goats. Samaritan's Purse is helping residents find a new, effective way to earn an income for their families by training them to raise and sell their goats ethically. The goat program has brought a new, sustainable trade to the families of Kamrieng, while witnessing to each family about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His provision that makes this program possible.
