Hurricane Harvey

When Hurricane Harvey made landfall August 25, it was the largest storm to strike the United States in over a decade. Ever ready to respond, Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief Units were rolling toward coastal Texas the same day the Category 4 storm came ashore. Over the next several days, Harvey, then a tropical storm, dropped unprecedented amounts of rain in Houston and surrounding areas. Please join us in praying for the people of Texas and for our volunteer teams as they help communities devastated by catastrophic flooding. Learn More
