As Hurricane Helene brought rushing floods and damaging winds that left families in Creston, North Carolina trapped without power; they were not left without hope as the volunteers of Samaritan's Purse were able to clear out the debris caused by the storm and clear a way for God's light to enter their hearts. Michael Scales was one of the many volunteers dispatched to western North Carolina and used this stressful time as an opportunity to witness the Gospel to two teenagers who eventually accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior.
