Missouri Tornado Response Begins

Samaritan's Purse staff are in Jefferson City, Missouri, after an EF-3 tornado devastated parts of the capital. Volunteers will be working in Jesus' Name to help people recover.

Meeting the Medical Needs of Displaced Venezuelans

Samaritan's Purse is providing compassionate and quality medical care in Colombia for Venezuelans who are fleeing turmoil in their homeland. Please pray for Venezuelans on the move and for our medical clinic workers as they care for physical needs and share the hope of the Gospel.

Motorcycle Riders Honor Veterans

The eighth annual High Country Warrior Ride to support Operation Heal Our Patriots, a project of Samaritan’s Purse dedicated to helping wounded veterans and their spouses strengthen their marriage and build their faith, took place on May 18 along the scenic roads of western North Carolina.

Rebuilding Lives

Since Hurricane Harvey dumped more than 50 inches of rain on Houston in August 2017, Samaritan’s Purse has helped over 3,000 families recover from the storm, including Betty Malonson whose house was destroyed by flood waters. But Betty is now back in her home, thanks to our volunteers who rebuilt it in Jesus’ Name.

A Great Way to Serve

Many Samaritan's Purse volunteers serve time and again, going on multiple deployments across the country to bring relief in Jesus' Name to people affected by natural disasters, including flood victims in Michigan. A Venezuelan Migrant's Story

Samaritan’s Purse is providing hot meals and temporary shelter in Colombia for thousands of Venezuelan migrants who are fleeing their economically devastated country. Alcides is among them; he's a construction worker who left his homeland when his monthly pay wasn’t enough to put food on his family’s table. Please continue to pray for Venezuelans and for our staff working in shelters in Colombia.

Detroit: Responding After the Floods

Samaritan's Purse responded in Detroit after torrential rainstorms pounded neighborhoods, submerging roads, flooding basements, and pushing some people beyond the breaking point. Please pray for homeowners and for our volunteers as they mud-out houses, treat them for mold, and share the hope of the Gospel with those affected by the devastation.

The Other Side of the Story

Samaritan's Purse responded to homeowners affected by floods in eastern Nebraska, including Ron and Charlotte Young who have been involved with Operation Christmas Child for nearly 20 years. The Youngs experienced "the other side of the story" when our volunteers arrived to remove debris, mud-out their house, and let them know that God had not forgotten them.

Volunteers Serving in Flooded Michigan

Samaritan's Purse Disaster Relief volunteers are serving Michigan homeowners where torrential rain left communities underwater. Our teams are removing ruined walls and flooring and salvaging valuables in homes throughout Detroit's metropolitan area.

Serving Together When Disaster Strikes

For the first time ever, Samaritan's Purse disaster relief volunteers and Billy Graham Rapid Response Team chaplains gathered for a special conference focused on sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with hurting people during disaster situations.
