Kojo grew up in a family of nine in Ghana that had very little resources. When he was 12, Operation Christmas Child representatives came to his school and told him about God's love. Afterward, he received a shoebox gift filled in part with a yo-yo, toy car, and pencils. Still moved today by this act of generosity, Kojo sings, "Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so."
