With many Congolese elders in the city of Isiro suffering from cataracts, local doctors in the area are ill-equipped to provide the surgery that can restore the sight of their patients. Samaritan's Purse recently established a new cataract treatment program in Isiro to provide doctors who can restore the sight of each patient and chaplains that will embolden each patient's faith in God. Thanks to the medical professionals of our World Medical Mission, each patient who leaves the program can go back to their everyday physical life while starting a more substantial, bolder spiritual life dedicated to God.
