How Samaritan's Purse is Helping Jamaica After Hurricane Melissa
International Crisis Response | 3:28 IP-251006_Hurricane Melissa_Jamaica_DART_Overview
After Hurricane Melissa made landfall in Jamaica, bringing 185 mph winds and devastating rain in its path, many communities were left in ruin. Once the storm had passed, Samaritan's Purse was ready to assist the people of Jamaica in Jesus' Name. Our Disaster Assistance Response Teams (DART) members have brought everything from helicopter loads of kitchen and hygiene kits, a Tier 2 Emergency Field Hospital, and clean water stations capable of keeping thousands of people hydrated each day to communities across the Jamaican island. Please continue to pray for these communities as they continue their path to recovery, and for our DART teams, who continue to physically and spiritually help those in need across Jamaica.
