Deo's Life Was Saved Through Children's Heart Project

Medical Ministries | 4:23 CH-250103_Uganda Child Story_Deo

In underdeveloped countries worldwide, there are children who are diagnosed with heart defects while their families do not have access to the care that can save their child's life. In Uganda, Deo struggled with pain throughout his body in his early childhood as he was born with a rare heart defect that constantly put his life at risk. While Deo's village didn't have the resources to heal this condition, Children's Heart Project of Samaritan's Purse arranged for Deo to come to the U.S. and undergo the life-saving surgery that transformed him into a happier and healthier child. When our team returned to Deo's village in Uganda to share the good news, a great joy swept across the village as eight people gave their lives to Jesus.
