Building A Long-Lasting Church For A Rural Alaskan Community

Construction Projects | 3:38 NM-250902_Alaska_Lake Clark_Church Dedication

When the Lake Clark Bible Church was first established, each service was held within people's homes. As their church grew, there was a need for a permanent chapel that could withstand the Alaskan environment. Thanks to the skilled volunteers of Samaritan's Purse, the official Lake Clark Church building was recently completed within the small community of Port Alsworth. Samaritan's Purse is committed to building a new church in rural Alaska every year, and this church is the latest addition to that mission with state-of-the-art insulation, over 1.5 million pounds of concrete, and a metal-clad exterior that will help this church stand the test of time as it hosts church services for generations to come.
