Samaritan's Purse would like to thank the Appalachian State football team for supporting our Hurricane Helene response in western North Carolina. With certain areas of North Carolina still isolated by the damage caused by Hurricane Helene, App State Head Coach Shawn Clark and the App State football team answered the call to serve and loaded up several black hawk helicopters with food, water and medical supplies to bring help to their neighboring communities who still lack road access. This is just another example of how the people of the High Country are coming together to support each other and share the love of God even in the most stressful of times.
