Zhenya's Story

Zhenya Waybourn grew up in an orphanage in the former Soviet Union. There he used a public bath house where 30 children had to share one bar of soap. When he received an Operation Christmas Child shoebox gift, Zhenya was moved to tears to find his very own bar of soap and a washcloth inside. Today, he includes letters to children in the shoeboxes he packs and encourages others to do the same.
