Superstorm Sandy was one of the biggest storms ever to hit the East Coast, wreaking havoc on the homes and lives of thousands of people after it made landfall Oct. 29. It delivered more than dangerous winds, power outages and destruction. It also left a path of despair.

Samaritan’s Purse responded by sending staff, equipment, and volunteers to three locations in new Jersey and one in New York. We initially established bases in Atlantic , Bergen, and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, as well as Nassau County in New York. By the end of November, we closed two of the sites in New Jersey and established another base in Manmouth County.¬†Watch the videos below to witness our work, and please consider donating to help us be prepared whenever disaster strikes in the United States.
